Have the ability to capture your iSnap user’s email address when they take a photo and share it to their friends. Email capture is available after subscribing to Pro Tools monthly software.
A user’s email is captured and available to be exported in a spreadsheet if they “opt-in” while sharing their photo. At a certain step after taking a photo, there will be a check-box with a statement along the lines of “Receive free offers from [Your Brand Name]”
Your email list will download as a CSV file, that can be opened with a spreadsheet program (Microsoft Excel, OpenOffice, or Google Sheets). As a reminder, for best results please use the Google Chrome Browser while navigating your iSnap dashboard/webpage. The CSV file will have four columns: Time & Date, First name, Last name, and Email address. The name will be captured only if the user posts to their Facebook page.
Now if your company already obtains emails of your customers or visitors through other means, then this feature may not be as valuable to you. However, if you need a way to get contact info of foot-traffic at an event, or know there will be visitors at your venue that you do not have info on file for, then this is a good way to get what you need.
What can you do with the email list? Use it for your marketing campaigns by sending out newsletters and promotions. Technically, by checking the box, the user has agreed to receive correspondence from you. You will of course add a link in your emails allowing the recipient to opt out of receiving emails.
Below are sample emails sent to users who opted in while posting their photo.
